“All Stainless Steel is the Same”

Stainless steel comes in many grades and qualities. Corrosion resistance, strength, flexibility, and durability depend on the alloy composition and construction used. Choosing the correct grade is essential for long life and safety.

“Stainless Steel Doesn’t Rust”

Stainless steel is highly corrosion resistant, but no metal is completely immune in extremely harsh environments. Genuine SS316 stainless steel can last many times longer than ordinary steel, especially in coastal areas, due to its protective passive layer.

“Stainless Steel is Not Magnetic”

Magnetism is not a reliable way to identify stainless steel quality. Even genuine SS316 and SS304 cables can show slight magnetism after cold drawing or deformation. Corrosion resistance depends on alloy composition — not magnetism. In fact, low-grade SS202 can also appear non-magnetic and is often falsely passed off as SS316 by simply printing “SS316” on the nylon coating.

“All Stainless Steels Have the Same Corrosion Resistance”

Different grades perform very differently. SS316 offers much better corrosion resistance than lower grades such as SS304, SS202, or uncertified materials, particularly in humid and coastal environments.

“Printed SS316 does not mean the Cable is Genuine”

Printing “SS316” on a nylon coating does not guarantee the inner steel is actually SS316. Many low-quality cables may contain non magnetic SS304 or SS202 cores hidden beneath the coating. Always use certified, tested, and reliable stainless steel cables.

Always insist on a Material Test Certificate .

Use of Spurious ,non certified products is a big security risk in case of cable breakage or failure.

First time in India ,Stainless Steel Cable Invisible Grills ,a modern alternative to M.S Grills. it is known as Invisible Grills widely used in Singapore for a decade introduced in India in 2018.

These Invisible Grills are a system in which high tensile heavy duty marine grade stainless steel cables 2.5mm, 3mm, 3.5mm or 4mm diameter thick ,316 S.S marine grade with transparent nylon casing are fixed vertically or horizontally at a distance of 2 inches,3 inches or 4 inches as required in a structural framework forming a very safe shield like structure.

Provides excellent safety to children and adults alike against any accidents .

Load bearing and Compression load capacity of more than 400 kg ,Paint free, Low maintenance and Clear views with little obstruction.

Cables suggested for use are 1+12 Construction as per Singapore International Standards widely used in Singapore ,Malaysia ,Korea and China , though 7*7 can also be used as per client requirements .

1+12 stainless steel cable is chosen for its strength (higher breaking strength) and flexibility as compared to the ordinary commercially available 7 * 7 flexible cables which sag after some years.

Lower number of cables of bigger diameter in our international standards 1+12 cables are more stronger and less flexible than the thinner 7 by 7 cables balcony window grill.
